El Meson

I have been going to El Mason about 25 years. They do not disappoint. Today I ordered take out for the first time. The staff brought it out to the car. Staff wore masks and gloves. The food came out hot. At home it was as tasty as usual. It was plentiful and delicious. Order out with confidence you will not be disappointed.

Was very excited about going here. It lived up to its reputation. El Meson has a nice friendly vibe, the staff is attentive without being overbearing, and the guacamole... oh my, the guacamole is amazing! My friend has tacos and they were excellent. I had something else that didn't thrill me, but I could live off the guac til I die, so no worries. Thank you El Meson, we'll be back!

My favorite sit down Mexican Restaurant in NJ! I grew up in San Diego, on the boarder, and I can tell you that this place is very authentic. If you're looking for hard shell, ground beef, American style tacos, this might not be your place. However, their Enchiladas and other traditional dishes are top notch. I'm so glad they are offering take-out during the COVID-19 Pandemic, I am craving my favorite dish and will be calling in my order soon!
